Atera restaurant

Went to Atera for a Valentines dinner last night and i have to say that everything from the ambience, to the food, to the wine pairing and especially the service blew me away. Yes, the meal was quite expensive and not something i would be able to repeat very often, but it was definitely worth it.

I think Aska is a bit more modern/contemporary and Aquavit is a bit more traditional French fine dining. I can't speak about Atera. We went to Atera in March were blown away by the creativity, ambience and execution. I actually still think of 4 dishes from them and we went to Per Se the night after. Atera focuses on local seafood, some of it raw, which I don't consume. Thank you to the staff for serving dishes customized to my preferences so effortlessly; I savored every single morsel. Some courses, like Grape & Olive Oil and Cucumber, Celery, & Smoked Cheese, melded unexpected, but delicious food combinations.
